Introducing… Full Cream Milk

10 July 2006 | Owen Gregory

It is with great pleasure, and not a little trepidation, that I launch Full Cream Milk, delivering fresh Web design directly to your screen.

Full Cream Milk may be a brand new Web design agency, but there is a lot of experience and expertise in the bottle. And I hope you will agree that Full Cream Milk has a lot to offer.

Getting started

I’d spoken to two friends about setting up a kind of marketing and design collective a year or so ago. We made a few plans to bring our skills together and I got as far as designing a Web site, but there wasn’t enough incentive to leave the reasonable job I was in at the time. But I was growing frustrated at work and, to have the opportunity to be successful on my own terms, I had to take a risk. So in March 2006 I left my job to go it alone.

Still early days

Now it’s July and Full Cream Milk is a small, healthy enterprise, with its own business cards and Web site. I’m introducing new ideas about how the Web can work to clients who have been wary of the Web since the dot com crash. I’m encouraging them to adopt a modern approach to the Web, showing them how best to take advantage of robust markup and elegant design. Long may it continue!

Why ‘Full Cream Milk’?

I’m often asked about the name. My hope is that it conveys a wholesome goodness that can refresh Web sites with high quality design. And it’s also friendly, approachable and good for you, as I hope Full Cream Milk will be too.
